Manchester City midfielder Bernardo Silva has admitted that the club’s hopes of securing a fifth consecutive Premier League title are over.
City are trailing league leaders Liverpool by 16 points.
Last season, the Sky Blues became the first team in Premier League history to win four consecutive titles. However, this campaign has proven far more challenging, with the club suffering seven league defeats.
A particularly damaging run came in early November when City lost four consecutive matches to Bournemouth, Brighton, Tottenham Hotspur, and Liverpool.
