Springbok Women Sevens’ utility back Nadine Roos says it is an honour to represent South Africa for the third time in the Challenger series.
Roos is part of the SA Rugby 12-player squad to compete in the opening series between 1-2 March at Athlone Stadium in Cape Town.
Speaking to SABC Sport, Roos says the team will do all it takes to win the series in order to qualify for the HSBC SVNS Play-off tournament in May.
“It is quite a big privilege and honour to be part of the group. To again help the group qualify for the HSBC SVNS home series and it’s a big task at hand. It’s crucial for the team to win both of these tournaments to actually have a good log standing, going into the third tournament,” Roos said.
